“A ruler with no understanding will oppress his people, but one who hates corruption will have a long life” (Proverbs 28:16). A timely Tax Day look at leaders and the money that isn’t theirs.

“Blessed are those who fear to do wrong, but the stubborn are headed for serious trouble” (Proverbs 28:14). A short prayer prompt for those who’ve stopped being ashamed of sin.

“People who conceal their sins will not prosper, but if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy” (Proverbs 28:13). What a pebble in your shoe can teach us about unresolved sin.
